Subject: LOVE IS A MANY-SPLENDORED THING LYRICS - FRANK SINATRA

please Cyndi make a print out of this song(its the one and only that i sing pretty well with out going out of tune ha ha ha.

On Tues, August 28th, sometime in the morning my mom had a massive stroke which paralyzed her. It was not until the following morning that she was found on her couch by a maintenance man who had a scheduled appt to come to her apartment and change her light bulbs. Of all the times for a stroke to happen, it was on a day that my mom was normally unreachable as she traveled on Tuesdays to a casino by bus. I would receive at least 8 emails each day from my mom.

That morning, on Wed., I thought it odd that she did not send an email to tell me all about her casino. However I began work and around 11 am received the call from the ambulance attendant. It truly was a blessing that she did not pass in the night as it enabled me to spend 9 days with her in ICU and 9 days in hospice. It also enabled her to nod as to her wishes for a feeding tube , or not. She chose not. Following her passing I went to her home and her answering machine was full. To my and my brothers surprise...the very first message was one she sent to herself. In the message she was singing Love Is A Many Splendid Thing. My brother was able to remove some of the background and I was able to embed into this video.
This video is of my mom's own voice, singing. We will treasure it forever.

Thank you so very much for caring about my beautiful mother, myself and our family. We appreciate all who have taken the time to send prayers and well wishes. I only wish you all could have known our mom...as we did. A beautiful woman who did not let her hard life overcome her, instead...she lived in the beauty of simple things and absolutely loved children, animals and every person that crossed her path. Thank you and God Bless.

With heartfelt appreciation,

The family of Anna M. Fairbanks
